Sounds like strange advice from a company hoping to sell you a new system? At PSI we believe you should upgrade when it suits your business, not when the manufacturer “end of life’s” the equipment. In support of this philosophy we are able to supply and support hardware and systems that have been made obsolete by the manufacturer and, in some cases, where the vendor is no longer trading. We do this by obtaining 2nd user equipment through our extensive list of hardware traders which we use to support our customers needs for additional equipment as well as spare parts for our maintenance and repair operations.

Where replacing your old system is truly justifiable, perhaps by taking advantage of features not available on your old system, we believe customers should have the opportunity to upgrade gradually, according to their needs and budgetary constraints. To this end we are specialists in designing backwards-compatible systems that permit the user to seamlessly operate both old and new systems alongside each other, both supported by a single maintenance contract. As an old handheld terminal becomes beyond economical repair, it can then be replaced with a new device, one for one. As well as maximising your investment recommendations in your legacy system, this approach facilitates a gradual transition from legacy to new system, minimising the impact of change on your business.
